Does Zocuments submit the chargeback for me?
No. It prepares a packet in your browser. You upload or attach that packet in your processor dashboard.
Do my files leave my browser?
Dispute facts and attachments stay in this browser and are not uploaded. Anonymous product-usage events may be sent to Zocuments so we can see whether the tool is useful. Those events do not include your packet, files, or the text you type.
What evidence should I attach?
That depends on the claim on the notice. Each reason guide lists records that usually help and records that usually do not. Start with the reason on your processor notice.
Can I use this for PayPal, Shopify, Stripe, or Square?
Yes. The workflow is built around those dispute portals, and it also covers a generic card-processor path. Deadlines and file limits still come from the portal you file in.
Does this guarantee I will win?
No. PayPal decides an escalated internal PayPal claim; a bank or card issuer decides an external chargeback. Zocuments organizes what you provide; it does not argue the case for you or verify that every statement is true.
What happens to my draft?
The draft and uploaded files are saved locally in this browser so you can refresh or return later. Drafts expire after seven days without changes, and Start over clears the saved case. Save the exported packet somewhere you control. This browser may also keep a random anonymous analytics identifier and, if you answer it, an optional yes/no about whether you handle disputes regularly. Neither is your packet.
Can I attach scans or photos?
Yes. PDF, PNG, and JPEG files can be merged into the packet. Other file types should be added in the processor portal.
Where do I submit the finished packet?
In the dispute tool for that payment: PayPal’s Resolution Center, Shopify admin, the Stripe Dashboard, Square, or your processor’s portal. Official guidance links are in References.
