On this page
The reviewer needs a timeline: when the customer agreed to recurring billing, when they cancelled, when this charge occurred, and whether they used the service during that period.
A cancellation request after the renewal date is a different fact pattern from a cancellation you failed to process. Do not collapse those into one sentence.
Zocuments does not connect to your billing system. You still have to export the terms, logs, and messages you rely on.
Records that usually help
Usually helps
- Billing terms accepted. Checkout terms, the subscription agreement, renewal notice, trial terms, or the account settings page the customer used.
- Usage or access record. Login, download, appointment, seat activity, or delivery during the billed period.
- Cancellation timeline. Cancellation request date, confirmation email, next-bill date, policy deadline, or admin action log.
- Support communication. Conversation about cancellation, refund, plan changes, or continued access.
Usually does not help
- A shipping label for an unrelated product order. This dispute is about billing terms and cancellation timing.
- The full subscription contract if one clause answers the claim. Submit the cancellation and renewal section the customer actually saw.
Processor notes
File limits, deadlines, and outcomes come from your processor. These notes summarize public help articles; check the portal for the case in front of you.
