What an itemized receipt can establish

  • Two charges are two orders: different IDs, timestamps, SKUs, or service dates.
  • The charged amount matches checkout: base price, shipping, tax, tip.
  • The customer was shown a product name that matches your descriptor confusion case.

What it cannot establish

  • That the goods were delivered (you still need proof of delivery).
  • That the listing was accurate (you need the listing as shown at purchase).
  • That the cardholder typed the card number (you need authorization data).

For a duplicate dispute, put both receipts on one exhibit and point at the fields that differ. If one 'charge' was an authorization hold, say so with timestamps. Shopify warns that customers often mistake holds for second charges.
